1998 - The Beginning

Every mission begins with a moment of encounter. For our founder, that moment came through a humble reading of Romans 10:13 – "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Born again and filled with a deep hunger for God's Word, he started preaching in marketplaces and open-air crusades across Kisii and Nyamira counties.

Early 2000s - Tanzania Mission

A pivotal short-term trip to Tanzania opened his eyes to the spiritual hunger among the Makonde people—an unreached tribe in East Africa. Inspired by the Kairos cross-cultural missions course and mentored by seasoned ministers like Rev. Paul Gichuki, he discerned a deeper call.

• African Theological Seminary (Kitale) — Diploma in Ministry
• Nairobi Baptist Bible College — Leadership and Pastoral Theology
• Attended several missions conferences and cross-border discipleship intensives

September 2021 - Bible College Founded

With much prayer and vision, Freedom Baptist Bible College was founded. This was a response to a growing concern: that hundreds of pastors across the Kisii region had no formal ministry training. The goal was simple — to equip indigenous leaders with theological depth, spiritual maturity, and practical tools for community impact.
